This was sent from the Sun Belt Conference. Enjoy.

Head-to-Head versus Conference USA
We all know that we are 6-2 versus Conference USA this season. We also know that we were 5-3 last season versus Conference USA. That’s 11-5 over two seasons – which is pretty dominant.

But, of the 8 games we played this season against teams currently in Conference USA, only 2 of them were played against teams that will be in Conference USA in the future (both games were wins for the Sun Belt). So for a more accurate of what the future holds, let’s consider our head-to-head records of schools that are staying in the Sun Belt versus schools that have declared to join CUSA. We are still on the winning end this year with a 14-13 record.

Let’s go back one more year and take a look at 2011 as well. Once again, we were 5-3 versus Conference USA in 2011. However, only 4 of those 8 games were against teams that will be in Conference USA in the future (record between the conference’s was an even 2-2). How did we fair head-to-head for schools that are staying in the Sun Belt versus schools that have declared to join CUSA? An incredible 17-6!
