The Troy women’s basketball team fell to Arkansas-Little Rock on Saturday, 71-50.
The loss drops Troy to 0-5 in Sun Belt Conference play and 3-11 overall.
First year head coach Chanda Rigby said the team is concentrating on accomplishing smaller goals within the game.
“We has some very specific goals for that game. We wanted to keep them under seven points between media timeouts,” Rigby said. “We did a good job of that in the first half, but couldn’t maintain it in the second.”
The good news for the struggling Trojans is that they welcome in 2-11 Louisiana-Monroe, who is 0-4 in Sun Belt play, on Thursday.
Freshman Ashley Beverly-Kelley led Troy with 11 points.
